We spent the morning sorting meds and all of the donated items and packing beans, rice, and wheat germ.  After lunch and a “Holland-type” rainstorm, we headed off to our first remote village.  Bump, bump, and bump again.  Today we were able to see the beautiful country, the farms on the mountainsides.   We arrived at the village, set up the med clinic,  learned the routine.  Bill and Ed were qualtity control and kept the baggers in line.  We also played with the friendly kids who came around and distributed toys which they loved.  Many games were enjoyed in the rain while we served about 35 families.   Afterwards the Jesus film was shown, we sang, and Almondo preached a spirit-filled message, inviting people to receive and follow Christ.  It was a powerful time as 11 children and 7-8 adults came forward.  They prayed a  salvation prayer and were prayed over by the Trinity team.  All received Spanish New Testaments and hugs all around.  Praise God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
